HOW TO REACH GENOA
By plane
The International Cristoforo Colombo Airport is located 6 Km from the city centre; named after Genoa’s most famous resident, Sir Christopher Columbus, the airport is served by Air Dolomiti, Alitalia, British Airways, AirOne, AirFrance, Ryanair, Iberia, Lufthansa, Belle Air, Airitaly, Air Malta, Bluexpress.
Volabus shuttle service provides a direct connection to the city centre. Every hour, every day of the week, the Volabus service will connect you from Cristoforo Colombo Airport to the city centre in approximately 30 minutes. Ticket costs € 6.00 (available for a trip on Volabus plus a 60 minutes journey on the AMT network) and it is on sale on board.

By train
There are two railway stations in Genoa: Piazza Principe station and Brignole station. Genoa Piazza Principe is the main station. People arriving from North and West should get off the train at this stop. Genoa Brignole is situated in the city centre. All the train stopping there also stop at the Principe station, nevertheless people arriving from East or South may want to get off the train there to save time. Many hotels are located around these stations. Buses and taxis are available in front of the stations and will take you to the centre in 10 minutes.

By car
Four motorways reach Genoa: A7, A10 , A26 and A12. Genova Motorway exits are: Genova Ovest (arriving from North or West via A7 A10 A26 motorways) and Genova Est (arriving from South or East via A12 motorways) In both cases follow the direction for the city centre.
